افسران جوان جنگ نرم ایران- Young officers soft war of Iran

A senior Iranian commander on Monday warned that enemies have opted for new techniques in their new efforts to confront the Islamic Republic of Iran.

"Today enemies are striving to coerce Iran into surrender through launching a vast and massive soft war," Commander of the Iranian Army Ground Force General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan said while addressing a group of commanders from Division 23.

The General cautioned that the enemy is now working on a "no-contact operation" as its top agenda for confronting Iran.

Recounting the measures adopted by the enemy in soft wars against different countries, he stressed that enemies are trying to weaken and enervate the Iranian people and youth through soft warfare and psychological operations.

"Yet, the vigilant and wise Iranian people will foil their plots," he added.

He pointed to the resistance shown by the Iranian nation during the 8-year Iraqi imposed war against Iran, and said, "Iranians have always supported the country's Armed Forces and the ominous plots of the enemies will certainly fail."

Earlier in November, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei had underlined the necessity for proper measures to repel enemy's soft war against Iran.

"Today, the main priority of the country is to confront (enemy's) soft warfare which is aimed at creating doubt, discord and pessimism among the masses of the people," Ayatollah Khamenei said, addressing a large and fervent congregation of Basij (volunteer) forces.

"In soft wars, enemy seeks to create doubt, pessimism and discord by spreading rumors and lies and using certain excuses through advanced cultural and communication means," Ayatollah Khamenei cautioned at the time.
